My approach
Capturing the moments in between
My background in documentary, portrait, and street photography naturally shapes the way I photograph couples and weddings.
I'm less interested in perfect poses and more interested in what happens in between. I look for genuine connection.
The way you naturally move together.
The way you look at each other when you think nobody is watching.
The atmosphere of a place.
The quality of the light.
The quiet moments between the big ones.
I like to stay close to the moment. Close enough to feel the energy of a celebration while remaining respectful and unobtrusive.

Most of the people I photograph have never had professional photos taken before. And that's perfectly fine.
You don't need to know how to pose, where to look, or what to do with your hands.
Before the session, I'll help you prepare. We can talk about locations, outfits, ideas, and what you hope these photographs will mean to you years from now.
On the day itself, I adapt to you. Sometimes I'll offer gentle direction. Sometimes I'll step back and give you the space to be yourselves and enjoy the experience.
